sujin lee, she/her, is a coach & consultant with more than 20 years of experience in social change. Most of what she learned came from her experiences navigating life as a young person from an immigrant family growing up in Baltimore, during a time that was focused on a Black/White understanding of history and culture. Understanding and decolonizing the experience of her own people, queer, Corean, and immigrant, has helped her to transform her own understanding of her life purpose, to support others to develop their leadership and transform the material, social, and emotional conditions of their communities’ lives.
In her work with leaders and their organizations, she helps them to build vibrant, strengths-based, and effective systems and cultures with clear communication. In her 20+ years working in social justice movements as an organizer, facilitator, program developer, trainer, coach, consultant, and advocate, her North Star has been growth, learning, healing, and impact. Becoming a certified coach allowed her to look at her life story with gentle, compassionate eyes and write a more powerful story aligned with her purpose and gifts.
