Weyam Ghadbian they/she is an energy healing practitioner, mindfulness meditation instructor, and a transformative facilitator. They are the daughter of a poet and a political exile forced away from Syria because of a commitment to dignity and freedom. They grew up on Osage & Caddo lands in the US South.
Weyam studied Ethnic Studies and Book Art at Mills College and spent years producing cultural programming for healing and social justice and organizing with the SF Bay Area Arab community. She later worked at Movement Strategy Center as a cultural strategist and network weaver. In 2020, she co-wrote the Turning Towards Each Other Conflict Workbook and now facilitates conflict transformation workshops for social justice leaders. Weyam aims to support deep personal, interpersonal, and cultural transformation by facilitating healing, embodiment, visioning, creativity, and conflict transformation. She dreams and builds towards the liberation of Bilad el Sham, the lands called Syria, Palestine, Lebanon, and Jordan.
